Brunch-Playing It Cool

Its been a long week, mercury is still in retrograde and you are lucky to have escaped the week without killing someone…it calls for brunch solo. A very fatty, filling brunch followed by a very fatty filling dessert, take in a movie or a play or two or three…an exhibition, sight seeing…whatever it is you have to do to forget this week from hell you’ve had. I got chu boo. Play it cool and keep things fresh. Dig out your leather pants, comfy and cool shoes, brogues or loafers will do. The trench of course and an oversized grey tee. Its all very basic but with an elevated sense of style. The perfect playing away outfit. Throw on an accent with a brightly coloured accessory. Play it very cool with aviators, maybe grab a book, your iPod and whatever else you need to spend the day all by your lonesome. Brunch should be at your favourite place because you are treating yourself today, but that’s about all you’ve planned for today, because everything else is on a whim. Go. Play. Enjoy.
