Some say its the best afternoon tea in London, I say its the most refined and luxurious.

The birthplace of Afternoon Tea, allegedly, and it puts on a decent showing of it. Located in The Langham Hotel.

The coffee here is good, they have been roasting it in their basement since 2010 and whenever I choose to have coffee this is one of the places I do. You can also by the beans to go.

Its a grill your own to your liking type deal with guest provided with their own parrillas (parrilla means to grill in Spanish) 

Member’s only but the space is simply divine so if you get invited by a member do go. 

An eclectic mash up; a mix of Creole and French; there is an easy flow to the whole space with its juke joint feel and it encourages sharing food.

Really fantastic empanadas by a really lovely green.

Business types meet here, but it is more than that; it is a precious place shrouded in the refinery of Saville Row; and there’s lots of good wine.

I much prefer the former name but this bar is divine with even more divine views.

Osaka enveloped in a canteen in South London. The Brixton outposts is a hole in the wall canteen which gives one a sense of awayness.

One of the most divine bars in one of the most divine settings; Maison Assouline; buy a book, grab a glass or cup of something lovely.

If there is one place you should have a negroni, its the Atrium bar at the Four Seasons hotel. The Pope. The Black Cat, And The Merry Widow walked into this bar.

Best toasted banana bread and possibly the friendliest cafe staff. Also, fantastic breakfast.

Portland place is one of those very fine neighbourhoods that holds history and the quirk of quintessential London; the rooms are just enough, with oodles of charm and cosiness.

Stands on ceremony for no one, the freshest of ingredients and a simple menu; they don’t make them like this anymore.

There is something about a simple juicy cut of steak, well seasoned, to your taste and a superb glass of red which is some of what you can get here.
