WINDOWS- SELFRIDGES

This was a window, like last years’, had to settle with me before I fully appreciated the scope of the story it is telling. It is one we can relate to because it deals with Christmas day and the aftermath; who is going to do the washing up?

The brusselsprout or not argument, a fridge stuffed of food before the big day, pudding, graving, the chocolate trays being passed around whilst we all lounge in our pyjamas in the days afterwards, the dog days after, you know those five or six tricky days when you hardly know what time it is, and of course Christmas leftover sandwiches.

Such a good mix of tradition and humour and it quickly became my joint second favourite, tying with Fortnum’s.
