A word that has been going round in my head for a while now. In the words of Will Smith and a few others who have said it lately, “everyone is going through something” no matter how sunny their disposition, how cheery their demeanour or the buoyancy of their behaviour… everyone is going through it.

So, no matter what, try to give a little grace and reason.

Let us all channel the spirit of the season; be better, do better, to ourselves and those around us. Because at times we are hardest on ourselves; we too need grace.

In the past couple of years we have suffered a tremendous loss; of life, love, laughter and light, some even more so. In this season of togetherness, the fragility of life is ever more pronounced and ever more present.

Give a little grace, extend a little love to yourself and each other; I promise you nothing is that big a deal, in the grand scheme of things.

I wish you and yours the Happiest Christmas, and a wonderful New Year. One filled with hope, love and lots of laughter.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

XOXO, Madam
