Summer Session No.6 | Let’s Do Bruch- Limes Of Lindfield

Lindfield is a pretty little village about an hour outside of London, in Sussex, on the train, a couple by car. It has pretty walks and a chill vibe and for an excellent breakfast, brunch and some of the best Thai dinners, it is not so far to venture. In the heart of Lindfield is Limes, a little restaurant that serves an incredible menu; to say the food is divine is to state the obvious but it truly is. A selection of seasonal produce, impeccable and friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. The portions are generous and the staff are ever so considerate. The village is opening back up slowly and responsibly, so we can dine out once again. During lockdown they were one of my safe havens for dinner with their masterful and flavourful Thai menu; I am one of those averse to cooking in her kitchen, no idea how to work the dishwasher therefore hates doing the washing up so takeout has really been my go to. Limes of Lindfield is a busy spot so it is advisable that you book ahead, well ahead, especially for the weekend breakfast or brunch, they are very popular.
Have the french toast or full english, matter of fact have everything because everything, EVERYTHING is good and filling, and fresh and delicious.
Side note:
Humphrey’s Bakery: for the best donuts and pastries but really, really wonderful donuts… did I say they sell the best donuts this side of Sussex? Because they do.
Our wardrobe for a trip to the country is simple and fun, we are just getting back out so we are not going to need a lot of stuff. You might even leave your handbag at home and make use of the pocket; your phone is all you’ll need. The real star of he show here is this shirt from Zara, talk about an attitude. Everything else is as it should be but build your outfit around the shirt.
