I figure since its October I am not late, things are finally starting to settle down around here, I am getting used to my space and new home and finally able to come up for air and back on the regular-ish.

I am falling more and more in love with Vogue, a thing I didn’t think I would say but here we are. Following on from the September Issue, because I skipped October, November runs a pretty stellar line up

Cover Interview is by Yomi Adegoke co-author of Slay In Your Lane; The Black Girl Bible. A brilliant read especially for Black British women. In her interview, Dunn talks about the future of fashion, being a lone voice for race and diversity back in the day and not giving a damn or aspiring to some nonsensical notion of conformity or politeness in order to make others feel comfortable… that is how I interpret it.

Lena Whaite’s feature is one that I find moving and interesting all at once. She talks about the privilege of being Black and the history that connects us. As Black people our stories are not monolith, and whilst our history is largely similarly experienced, we remain individuals, unique and different. Our differences make us who we are and our journeys take us to a different path yet in the same vein we are connected because no matter where we are, who we are with, what we do, as Black people, we remain connected and that counts for a lot if not everything
