MFW SS13, Sense and Simplicity from Fendi

There’s always a show that gives you that jolt of surprise when you see it coming down the runway on the tight bodies of the models adorned in the finery of the house. A good kind of surprise. This was Fendi. Simple yet alluring. Sensible yet impeccably stylish. There was an element of fun with the collection, the colours for instance were bright and bold at times bordered by black which gave it a kick of quirk, and other times powdery perfection and excellent combination a la the blue knit and shirt combo that may make its way into many a look even for the fall, the leather jacket on the cocktail ready, evening red dress; genius and very rogue. The presence of a solid technicality and tailored work, softened and appealing leather pieces. The handbags would make many a female heart swoon…ahem and the shoes were as versatile and as appealing as ever. This was smart, interesting and definitely well thought out.
