Off the beaten track London; Cocktails and more eats

So we’ve gone to the market in Borough, stopped by for some jerk chicken on the Kings road, had dessert in Lola’s Mayfair, had a wander through the Royal Parks, enjoyed some of the best sceneries and gone to the galleries. Now, let’s have a cocktail or two. The London Cocktail Club is where its at. A mix of the quintessential British quirk and the traditional British menu this is a perfect place for some downtime and lots of laughs. Get a kick out of the drinks; the Brixton Riot served with a showmanship of fire, a breakfast flavoured eggs and bacon martini served with eggs and pancetta in the cocktail; i have no idea…oyster bomb; the Jaeger bomb served in oyster with a kick of tabasco sauce and slurp like you would an oyster…As for food, they serve really good food, sharer platters, chips and burgers. A worthy mention is The Blue Elephant Thai restaurant in Fulham the best Thai place in the city and throughout the summer they will be hosting Brunch by the Thames River. A truly wonderful and unmissable experience.
For the more casual lover of food, Dach & Sons in Hampstead Heath have you covered; hotdogs, sliders, whiskey, beers etc. An All-American style diner with an upstairs speakeasy or the “flat p”. Beers from kegs, in the bottle, pint sized, mostly British and American, or if you prefer a boilermaker signature mix with Bourbon or whiskey, the bartenders are expertly skilled in whipping you up something to compliment your dog. This is seriously fun stuff people.
Another place you should definitely check out for the best views, french food and great cocktails is Galvin at Windows on the 28th floor of the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane. London never looked so beautiful at such great height.
