Off the beaten track London; The West End.

Central London.

Okay, its not exactly off the beaten track, the West End is a well beaten and trodden to death track, but there are few off track type things you can indulge in whilst there;

Selfridges; Miniature golf on the roof top anyone? The iconic department store in conjunction with Daylesford the organics company, has opened up its roof top and turned it into a miniature golf course with models of London’s landmark buildings as potholes, the Daylesford cafe is right next to it so the course if perfect for family day out; whilst the kids play you can put your feet up. There are no more tickets available online but there are walk-in places, so do get there early enough to potty. Have breakfast at the cafe and treat yourself to a round of golf. For the more touristy yet cool type things, in the lower ground floor, is the Selfridges BIG YELLOW SHOP with all merchandise made in Selfridges Yellow. The store has teamed up with different brands for exclusive products, so you have Moleskin notebooks, Hunter Wellington boots, Panetone Mugs, biscuit tins etc…all made in Selfridges yellow, a collectors item and pretty cute too.

A worthy mention is another old favourite stomping ground of mine, my favourite tudor mansion; Liberty, for true British Heritage and the famous Liberty prints, its like home away from home once you step in. check out the apothecary too.

Trail the back roads and avoid the traffic of people and I promise you’ll find yourself somewhere unexpected but worth it. Its always the way in London. Just have a GPS on your phone.
